INRTODUCTION

• This week we continue again because last week we were not able to fully complete the weeding of this circle. This needs to be done so that there are no more weeds around so that these durian trees get enough nutrition and make it easier for us to do the next task.

OBJECTIVE

• To eliminate weeds because they can help reduce the risk of pest and disease attacks.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

• Hoe (1 unit)
• Glove (1 pair)
• Boots (1 pair)
• Lawn machine (1 unit)

WORK SCHEDULE

6.30 A.M to 7.30 A.M

• This week we start our activities as usual. Each rocall will be held before going down to the respective compartment. We will also sing three songs at each rocall, namely the song Negaraku, the song Wawasan Setia Warga UiTM and the song Planters. However, this week is a little different from the previous weeks because this week we do not need to present any topic related to this subject.

7.30 A.M to 8.00 A.M

• We prepare the equipment that will be used on the durian plot.

• We started moving to the durian patch and planning the day's work trip.

8.00 A.M to 10.30 A.M

• We begin to continue the work that needs to be done on the rows of each tree or durian plant. However, there are several rows of durian plants that are being looked after by other students who are asked to do pruning.

• We started to do what we should do on each row of durian plants. I continued weeding.

• We were allowed to go up to Agrotech. We need to clean and repack the equipment that we have used in the plot.

• We were allowed to go back to college.

OBSERVATION

From the activity, students can understand why it is necessary to remove weeds found near plants.

• Input: Hextar Malathion 840 (8ml/4.5 liters) and chlorpyrifos + cypermethrin.
